We at the Pelican House Restaurants & Catering, like you, are concerned with the impact of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) on our communities and our world.  We wanted to take a moment to share with you what we are doing to ensure your visit to The Pelican House Restaurant and catering events remain safe, healthy and an enjoyable experience.

In accordance with guidelines from the CDC, we have heightened our already thorough cleaning procedures.  We would like to share those techniques with you.  We have added additional disinfecting times to our cleaning schedule for high touch point areas including tables, chairs, door handles and highchairs.  Door handles and restrooms are cleaned with a bleach containing disinfectant.  Smallware’s plates, glasses, serving trays, faucets and drink machine nozzles are cleaned using a special sanitizer.  Kitchen and back of the house areas are also cleaned with Quaternary Ammonium Sanitizer.  All employees are required to double wash their hands and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer at a minimum of hourly, before and after handling food, touching money or anything that may contaminate their hands.
